Supported Living

At R&S Housing, our supported living accommodation is designed for individuals who require support with maintaining a tenancy whilst working towards securing an Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) as part of their move-on pathway.

Placements are allocated following a needs assessment, with person-centred support plans put into place. Support is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains appropriate, effective, and responsive.

All supported living accommodation is maintained to a high standard and offers residents privacy, dignity, and independence. Properties provide self-contained accommodation, including en-suite bathrooms and private kitchenette facilities, alongside access to shared kitchen, laundry and communal living areas. This balance supports independent living while reducing isolation and promoting social inclusion.

The service is overseen by fully qualified Housing Support Officers with extensive experience in supported housing and local authority settings. Staff are trained and qualified in supporting individuals with a range of needs, including mental health needs, domestic abuse and complex or challenging behaviours.

Residents receive regular, structured support, including weekly check-ins, tenancy sustainment support and ongoing monitoring of accommodation and wellbeing. Support is flexible and responsive, adapting as residents’ needs change over time.

Our supported living accommodation is located in Redditch, Worcestershire, within reasonable distance of public transport links and local amenities - Enabling residents to access essential services, education, employment opportunities and community resources.

R&S Housing’s supported living service is underpinned by a commitment to safeguarding, dignity and independence, providing residents with the stability and support needed to sustain their accommodation and progress towards independent living at their own pace.
